      Bonjour, my name is Karina Atkins. I offer private French tuition to adults and children in and around Worthing. I am a native French speaker born in Paris and have been living in the UK since 2000.

​

I studied English at University in Paris and also have a DUFA (Diplôme Universitaire de formateurs d’adultes) which is equivalent to a Degree in Educational Science.

​

When I left France I was working as a coordinator for a training centre for adults. I have been teaching for over 30 years (24 in the UK).

​

When I first arrived in the UK I worked in London for language schools in major companies such as (BP, Morgan Stanley, Simmons and Simmons, Shell etc.) teaching business and social French and also started having my own private students in parallel.  In 2005, I started teaching French to children in nurseries and primary schools in South London and now in and around Worthing.

I moved to Worthing with my family in 2010 and have been providing personalised French lessons to private students and companies.

​

I really enjoy teaching whatever the level, the age and the objective of the student because it allows me to share my love of the French language and culture.
